Cesare Spadoni, Ph.D., MBA, Oncoheroes’ COO, has been selected as one of the finalists of the third annual Lyfebulb-Helsinn Cancer Innovation Summit & Award, recognizing outstanding patients, or those with loved ones affected by cancer, entrepreneurs building groundbreaking companies to advance the prevention, diagnosis, management or care of cancer. Cesare will present Oncoheroes Biosciences in Monaco on Jan 29-30, 2020 for a chance to win the award.

Cesare stated: “It is an honor to be a finalist and have the opportunity to present our unprecedented effort in childhood cancer. Beyond the nomination and the chance to win, this is a great opportunity for Oncoheroes right now because during the event all competing companies will be considered for possible investment by Helsinn”.

Ricardo Garcia, Oncoheroes CEO further noted: “We are very excited about this nomination. It is already a reward for all the work done so far and encourages us to continue fighting hard to see the approval of our first treatment for children and adolescents with cancer. Getting here would not have been possible without the help of the early supporters who helped us launch Oncoheroes when no one thought we were capable, like Sujuan Ba, the National Foundation for Cancer Research President.”

The summit is organized by Lyfebulb, a patient empowerment platform that connects patients with industry to support user-driven innovation toward solutions in chronic disease, and Helsinn, a Swiss pharmaceutical group focused on building quality cancer care.
