Part of Tomas’ professional career is carried out in the United States where he is an entrepreneur, creating and developing start-ups in many different fields. In 2004, he entered the IESE Business School- top one Executive Education 2016- 2020, Financial Times ranking- where he is the director of the Executive Education programs, director of the Executive MBA and director of Corporate Development. Currently, he is in charge, as an Associate Dean for Advancement-Global Fundraising (since 2011), for that institution, managing donation- principal gifts- and strategic initiative agreements with private individuals and institutions (private corporations and foundations).
Doctor in Economics (University of Barcelona), MBA from the ESADE Business School, General Management Program (PDG) from the IESE Business School and Master in Humanities and Social Sciences from the International University of Catalonia. Further training in the United Sates includes Harvard Business School (Executive Education) and Indiana University (certified in fundraising - Center on Philanthropy).
Author of the books: “CEO, do you dare? Helping society and earning money is possible” (Omega, 2014) and “I am blind. It is spring. Adversity and congruent fundraising” (Silere, 2019).
