Marta Príncep, PhD

Marta Príncep has 20 years of experience in various management positions in the biomedical sector. She brings a long track record of drug discovery and development as Head of the CNS Department at Ferrer Grupo where she has created new research opportunities, including two drugs reaching the clinical phase. She has also been a member of the steering committee for international joint ventures.
Marta has also been the Director of Innovation and board member at Biocat, a biocluster organization in Catalonia that represents more than 1100 companies and entities. While at Biocat she was also Scientific Director of Bioemprendedor XXI, a member of the Healthcare Investment Forum and Director of the baseline report on biosciences in Catalonia.
Later, Marta created an entrepreneurship division at Bellavista, a law and consultancy firm dealing with technology transfer, innovation and strategy of academia and start-ups and has been CEO of patient foundations.
Recently, she has founded BHV Partners, a health venture builder and is an advisory member of different start-ups, mentor in several acceleration programs and speaker in entrepreneurship training programs.
Marta holds a PhD in Biology and executive education training from the Wharton School in Pennsylvania and Advanced Management Program at ESADE Business School in Barcelona.
